Stay up to date with all activities in the International Network of Research Project Managers (INRPM).
You can either subscribe to our events as a separate, automatically updated calendar, or add events directly into your own primary calendar.
Option 1: Subscribe to the INRPM events calendar
Subscribing via iCal adds INRPM events as a separate, read‑only calendar in your calendar application.
This calendar updates automatically whenever we add, change or cancel events. You can show or hide it alongside your existing calendars.
iCal feed URL
You only need to add this feed once. After that, your calendar will stay in sync.

https://internationalrpm.org/?mec-ical-feed=1 - Confirm that you want to subscribe to this calendar.
- Give the calendar a clear name, for example “INRPM Events”.
The calendar will appear in your list of calendars. You can show or hide it, and it will update automatically when INRPM events change.
Option 2: Add events directly into your own calendar
Important limitation
When you subscribe to our iCal feed, INRPM events appear in a separate, read‑only calendar in your calendar application. This calendar updates automatically, but it does not write events directly into your primary work or personal calendar. Most calendar applications do not allow external subscriptions to modify your main calendar for privacy and security reasons.
If you prefer to have INRPM events integrated into your own main calendar (so that they block time like any other meeting), you unfortunately need to add them manually in one of the following ways:
- Import all current upcoming events once using this iCal link (a one‑time import that does not update automatically):
https://internationalrpm.org/?mec-ical-feed=1 - Export individual events from our events pages (download the event as an .ics file) and add that specific event to your calendar.
Option 2a: One‑time import of all upcoming events
General idea (exact menus vary by platform):
- Download the .ics file using the iCal link or your calendar’s “Import calendar” feature.
- Choose your primary calendar (for example your work calendar) as the target.
- Confirm the import.
All currently upcoming INRPM events will be added as normal events in that calendar and will block your time. However, any future changes to events, or newly created events, will not be added automatically. You would need to repeat the import if you want to refresh the list later.
Option 2b: Export and add a single event
From each individual event page on the INRPM website you can:
- Use the calendar export button or link for that specific event (for example: “Add to calendar” / “Download .ics”).
- Open the downloaded .ics file with your calendar application.
- Choose your primary calendar as the destination when prompted.
This will add only that event into your main calendar, ensuring it shows up like any other meeting and blocks your availability.
Recommended way to work
For most users we recommend:
- Use Option 1 (iCal subscription) to keep an automatically updated overview of all INRPM events in a separate calendar.
- For events you know you will attend, use Option 2b or your calendar’s “Copy to my calendar” function to add those specific events into your primary calendar so they block your time.
If you experience any issues subscribing to or importing the calendar in your specific setup, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
