The Standing Committees are INRPM’s main working arms. They turn the network’s shared principles into concrete activities, resources and support for the RPM community, under the overall direction of the Organising Committee (OC). Each committee focuses on a distinct but connected area of work so that together they cover the core needs of research project managers across systems and countries.
Standing Committees are made up of volunteers from different organisations and regions who are willing to contribute a few hours per month alongside their regular roles. Each committee has a Lead appointed by the OC. The Lead is part of INRPM’s “board‑level” coordination and is responsible for guiding the committee’s work, keeping it aligned with INRPM’s purpose and Foundational Framework, and coordinating with other committees where it makes sense.
Committees meet regularly online and organise their own work based on the interests, skills and capacity of their members. Some focus on developing shared tools and resources, others on learning activities, knowledge building, community building and communication or professional recognition. What they have in common is that they provide a practical way for RPMs to shape how INRPM develops over time and to build lasting connections with peers facing similar challenges.
If you are interested in contributing to INRPM through one of the Standing Committees, you can read more about each committee and how to apply on the individual committee pages and on the Standing Committee application page.
