This form may be used to submit an individual nomination, a self-nomination, a complete Chair team proposal, a complete Organising Committee group proposal, or a general expression of interest.
Governance roles are active volunteer roles and require regular engagement between meetings. The role requirements, responsibilities, expected commitment, and conditions for holding a role are described in the INRPM Terms of Reference. Submissions should be specific, include a short motivation, and include the relevant declaration that the proposed candidate(s) understand the role, the expected commitment, and the relevant term of office.
Members serving as INRPM Chairs or Organising Committee members are also expected to fully take on the responsibilities of being active members of at least one Standing Committee, contributing to the work of INRPM beyond governance meetings.
Deadline for submissions: October 21, 2026.
The Nomination Committee will take all submissions into consideration when preparing its proposed slate for INRPM Chairs and Organising Committee members. Submission of this form does not guarantee that a candidate or proposal will be included in the Nomination Committee’s proposed slate. Complete governance proposals that meet the requirements and are submitted by the deadline may be included as alternative proposals to the Nomination Committee’s proposal at the Annual Members’ Meeting.
The Nomination Committee may carry out spot checks with proposed candidates to verify that they understand the role requirements and conditions, and that they have given their explicit consent to stand as candidates. If the Nomination Committee finds that a proposed candidate has not understood the role requirements and conditions, or has not given explicit consent to the candidacy, the nomination may be deemed invalid and will not be considered further. For complete governance proposals, this may mean that the entire proposal is deemed invalid.
