INRPM’s governance is based on a small set of core documents. The Foundational Framework is the network’s highest-level governance document. It defines INRPM’s purpose, long-term principles and understanding of Research Project Management. The Terms of Reference describe how INRPM is organised and how the network operates in practice.
Foundational Framework – highest-level governance document
The Foundational Framework is INRPM’s foundational and highest-level governance document. It defines the network’s vision, mission, understanding of Research Project Management and core principles. It serves as the stable reference point for all work carried out in INRPM’s name.
Terms of Reference – operational governance document
The Terms of Reference translate the Foundational Framework into INRPM’s operational structures, roles, responsibilities and working methods.
Transitional note: These Terms of Reference have been adopted for INRPM’s initial governance period under the authority of the Foundational Framework. They apply as INRPM’s operational governance document until the first Annual Meeting, where they will be submitted for ratification.
